Yandex Offers Payment Modules for Online Stores

Yandex lists free modules for connecting Pay and Split to popular website platforms. Merchants can offer full payment or instalments and handle refunds.

Online shopping and payment modules

Yandex has announced free ready-made modules for connecting Yandex Pay and Split to online stores. Its 8 July 2025 announcement lists WordPress, Tilda, OpenCart, 1C-Bitrix and Joomla among the supported website platforms.

Connecting a store

Merchants register in the business account, submit a connection application and install the relevant module after confirmation. The modules support full payment, instalments through Split, and full or partial refunds.

  • Choose the module matching the store's platform.
  • Complete the merchant connection process.
  • Use product-card badges to display payment options.

Alternative integration routes

The free-module announcement concerns the software connection; it does not establish zero transaction fees.

Yandex's business guidance published on 2 April also describes payment links, which do not require website integration, and an application programming interface for customised connections. Ready-made modules were already mentioned in that guidance; the July announcement sets out the supported platforms and module features.

Explaining the checkout options

The earlier guidance recommends introducing customers to the payment methods through a dedicated website page, a banner or a blog announcement. Widgets can show Plus points or a Split payment amount before checkout. These are ways to explain an option to customers, rather than evidence that every store will achieve the same sales result.

Company background

Yandex's 2024 financial results, published on 20 February 2025, reported annual revenue of RUB1.095 trillion, up 37%. Fourth-quarter revenue reached RUB340.1 billion, also 37% above the corresponding period a year earlier.

Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation reached RUB188.6 billion for the year, with a margin of 17.2%. These figures concern the company as a whole, not revenue from the payment modules announced in July.
